I don't usually follow my horoscope, but the astrological description of Aries does describe me pretty well. I'm independent (both financially and otherwise), goal-directed, sometimes impulsive... someone who gets things done. I'm happy with who I am and trying to find a woman who will appreciate me and my quirks. I like the theater and movies, galleries and flea markets, modern dance and blues bars, B. B. King, Albert King and Freddie King. I don't feel or act 68 (that would be incredibly boring). Politically, I'm very liberal and wish the rest of the world were, too. What am I like around a woman? I love the company of women and, if we're together, you can expect to be treated, well, lovingly. I'm attentive, respectful, caring... a good listener and an unselfish lover. For fun, I like to travel, eat out, watch movies (at home or out) or "good TV," hike in the Sandia Mountains near my home, get together with close friends, take you for a ride on my motorcycle (not mandatory), play with my and cats, do photography, hear live music, try things I've never done before, meet new people and cuddle with you.

My Ideal Person A fit, attractive (ideally) African American woman who likes older men, who is reasonably assertive and adventurous, who enjoys doing nothing, or going for long drives, or talking, not talking, being kissed by my dog, being kissed by me, life. (A word on "fit and attractivequot; I like a woman with a nice figure -- just like the next guy -- but a pretty face and a kind and affectionate spirit will get me every time). I've built a very comfortable, easy-going existence here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I moved here, to the desert, from a large east coast city in 1998 and the move revitalized me.
